Children's Fishing Derby at Pleasant View Park
The Russellville Recreation and Parks Department will present the annual Children's Fishing Derby at Pleasant View Park on June 10, 2023 beginning at 8:00 am with the weigh-in at 10:00am. This free event is for children ages 4 to 12. Prizes will be given in three age divisions for the heaviest catfish and the heaviest stringer of catfish. A special prize is given for the biggest catfish caught during the derby. Registration is required prior to the derby date. The derby is limited to the first 100 children who register at the Hughes Community Center, Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm or online here.
