DECORATION/CLEANUP MONTH
MAY 2020
Due to the current health pandemic caused by COVID-19, the annual May Decoration/Cleanup Day has been modified to allow for social distancing and for families to visit their loved ones safely at the Russellville Oakland Cemetery. This year the entire month of May 2020 has been declared by our office to be our official time for Decoration and Cleanup at Russellville Oakland Cemetery.
There are some markers in need of cleaning, but that can only be done by the family. If you would like to volunteer to assist families in locating graves of loved ones, please contact the Cemetery Office by phone: 479-857-4074.
Feel free to visit the cemetery anytime between sunrise and sunset. Please be courteous of others visiting in the cemetery. Maintain social distance practices. We enjoy seeing the flowers and decorations left for your loved ones. Take your time to reflect on fond memories while visiting.
All pets must be on a leash. No alcohol in the cemetery. Place trash/rubbish in the trash receptacle (near the flagpole). Removal of items (unless by staff or a family member) or damage caused to any grave may result in criminal charges.
