The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is providing free, online screening for COVID-19 through the UAMS Health Now. UAMS Health Now is a 24-hour digital connection to health care professionals that will provide screening and offer next step advice to those that suspect they may be infected with the COVID-19 virus. To access UAMS Health Now, go to https://uamshealth.com/healthnow and click on the screening tool.
Additionally, two call centers have been set up for triage and diagnosis of the COVID-19 virus. The Department of Health’s number is 800-803-7847. Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s number is 800-743-3616.
Members can also get interim guidance for businesses and employers from the CDC and OSHA by clicking here: https://bit.ly/2W7bNkT. This interim guidance may help prevent workplace exposures to acute respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19, in non-healthcare settings. The guidance also provides planning considerations if there are more widespread, community outbreaks of COVID-19.
