City of Russellville
Office of Mayor Richard Harris

PRESS RELEASE                                                                                    June 6, 2019

RE: Help Your Neighbor – Flood Relief Day

The Mayor of the City of Russellville has issued a proclamation declaring Tuesday, June 18, 2019 as
“Help Your Neighbor – Flood Relief Day”. The Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce and others will
be working with local businesses to set up locations to collect donations for these flood relief
efforts.

Donations will be used to directly assist those in our own community, as well as others in our
state, and may also be provided to other charitable organizations to provide support for those
affected by this flooding event.

Additional details of this day will be provided via the Chamber of Commerce, City of Russellville,
and the Russellville Advertising and Promotion website. It is encouraged that the citizens of
Russellville and Pope County come together to assist those in need.
