RE: Ward 4 Vacancy
On Tuesday, January 23, 2018, Councilmember Nathan George officially submitted his
resignation from the Russellville City Council due to having moved from the Ward he was
elected to serve. On January 23, 2018, in a Special Called meeting of the Russellville City
Council, a process was approved by the City Council to appoint a replacement to fill that
vacancy. To that end, any qualified person from Ward 4, which is approximately the northeast ¼
of the city, may submit a letter of interest to the City Council for consideration no later than the
close of business on February 2, 2018.
